NB! International undergraduate applicants are required to have completed their secondary education and must be eligible for higher education in their own country. NB!

University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy (UT VCA) is one of the five colleges of University of Tartu. The academy's main focus is to provide first and second level applied higher education and organise in-service trainings in the fileds of arts.

 UT Viljandi Culture Academy offers 13 undergraduate study programmes in such fields as theatre and dance arts, music, Estonian native crafts, youth work, culture management and library and information sciences. 12 programmes are 4-years (240 ECTS) professional higher education programmes (equal with BA studies). One programme (School Music) is BA with 3 study years (180 ECTS).

The academy also offers graduate study programmes with 2 study years (120 ECTS). There are three study programmes in Estonian: MA in Education (Teacher of Music), MA in Traditional Music (joint curriculum with Estonina Academy of Music and Theatre) and starting from autumn 2011 MA in Inhereted Crafts.

From autumn 2011 we also offer Master programmes in English:
MA in Design and Development of Virtual Environments and joint MA in Sound Engineering Arts in cooperation with Tallinn University Baltic Film and Media School with admissions in alternate years to respective universities. The admission in 2011 is to the Baltic Film and Media School.
